Treadmill calories

I just bought a new treadmill and Iím confused, it says I only lose x amount of calories for the distance/incline/speed. Yet when I research online on this website it allows me to enter in my weight/distance/incline/speed/time. Wouldnít it be more accurate on the website rather than my treadmill that doesnít know my weight? The treadmill says the calories I burned is less than the website, so Iím not sure what to believe.

On another note, does anybody have any ideas to soothe leg pain from squats? Thanks.

The website is gonna be more accurate. I've seen some that give ranges and usually just went with somewhere in the middle.

Leg pain after squats will usually subside after you've been training awhile. More frequency helps, too.

I wouldn't worry about calories. They're both probably inaccurate. Just try to get your heart rate up where it's somewhat difficult to talk for like 30 minute increments. Some good stretching and drink water can help. Resting that part is best, and like JH said, your body will adapt and allow to increase workload over time.
